The Bristol Bay sockeye run – the largest in the world – occurs only during a short season in a fairly remote region of Alaska, creating a challenging environment for the fishing fleet, the canneries, area businesses, and local residents. That’s why since 1995, Seamar Naknek has operated a seasonal marine retail location specializing in hydraulics, fishing gear, foul-weather clothing, and various marine components.

In 2014, we added a fully operational net shed, becoming a one stop shop where you can bring your gear at the end of the season and have it ready to go for the next.

Located in Leader Creek, Seamar Naknek continues to maintain a large inventory, provide experienced product knowledge and be a community hub.
