The Tomic Lures Tubby plug: Originally designed for commercial salmon fishermen in the Northwest, it's great for downrigging or top water trolling.
The Tubby is thicker when compared to a Classic plug. A Tubby is made by cutting out an inch of the middle of a Classic, so the 6" Tubby will have the same head and tail as the 7" Classic, but it will be shorter, and therefore, "tubbier".
Designed to work well at slower speeds, the Tubby may also be trolled fast and will fish alongside a Classic nicely.
Made from extremely strong and lightweight plastic, these plugs float, but they will dig down into the water when trolled. Every Tomic lure is hand-painted and assembled with care.
Comes rigged with a nickel-plated swivel.
Color style #603, "Rainbow Glow Silver".
