Polyform's Low Drag LD-series buoys were introduced in 1989 to meet the commercial fishing industry's needs. Hauling commercial crab pots out of the Bering Sea during 30-foot swells is one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. That's why Polyform developed the LD buoy's unique shape: it allows crew members to do quicker, safer trap pickups, which helps reduce wear and tear on your gear. Simply put, these are the best option for any application where you're dragging or taking buoys in and out of the water regularly.
The LD-series buoys are distinguished as the #1 buoys used in the commercial crabbing and fishing industries today, outselling all other dragged buoys combined.
