A warm blend of 70% wool and 30% nylon makes these liners perfect for wearing under work gloves, or even on their own. Some jobs require an extra layer of protection underneath your usual waterproofing / protection layer. Other times, you want just a little bit of warmth - for jobs on the water, in the garden, or while playing in colder places. These glove liners are thick enough to help your hands stay comfortably toasty, but thin enough to fight sweating and overheating. Non-stretching, breathable material. Wool naturally sheds water in a wicking manner that helps dampness from accumulating. This helps keep your skin dry. If you plan to use these glove liners in a wet environment, consider pairing them with waterproof or water-resistant gloves. Acrylic is a synthetic material -- it's been blended with wool in these liners, so they won't be quite as warm as ones made from a 100% wool yarn.
These liners are U.S. government style -- the same kind of glove inserts that have been issued to military forces throughout history when soldiers have encountered snow, rain, mist or other cold environmental hazards. The "surplus" ARMY olive green color has been the standard for quite some time. People who prefer a rustic or old-fashioned color scheme may find that ARMY or military green fits well as a drab, light-absorbing fabric.
These glove liners fit loosely, so please select the appropriate size after considering how they will be worn: on their own, or under other gloves.
Available in pairs (two glove liners) or dozens. Please select carefully.
Mfg numbers: 13-165-#3, 13-165-#4, 13-165-#5, 13-165-#6.
